Musical Mates
Our Musical Mates group enjoy getting together to make some noise.
This fun musical group meets in Queensferry War Memorial Institute in Deeside. This spacious venue is fully accessible, with plenty of parking available. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends and have the chance to play our lovely selection of musical instruments. We also have a karaoke machine together with our in house DJ Fozzy! There is free tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the session.
Cost £7 per person, carers no charge.
Meets every Thursday at 1pm until 3pm, during term time only.

Volunteer Socials
Throughout the year we host several social events for the people we support. Events in the past have included a popular Christmas party, with games, disco and karaoke and of course delicious food. We have also hosted several fancy dress parties and a particular favourite is at Halloween where everyone dresses up.

Our Past Events

Mind, Body, Spirit, Holistics and Craft Festivals
RainbowBiz CIC were responsible for hosting the Nationally recognised Mind, Body and Spirit Festivals which took place 5 times per year in the local Theatre in Mold. These events built up an enormous following of over 50 regular traders, with visitor numbers that exceeded 1,500 each festival.

Art Workshops
This is one of the many community based one off projects that RainbowBiz CIC delivered in previous years.
It resulted in dozens of festival signs and flowers being created, together with our wonderful parade puppet Dai the Diversity Dragon.

Celebrate Volunteers with Pride
As an organisation that promotes equality and diversity it seems fitting for us to host a screening of the popular film Pride. Especially when we discovered one of our volunteers was the real life daughter of Hefina Headon, one of the main characters in the film.

Arty Folk & Friendship Group
A creative and fun project which meets every Thursday and helps many people overcome loneliness and social isolation.

Online Social
This group meets every Tuesday at 2pm via Zoom. This weekly social is for the IT Project members and has been kindly funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation.
